Welcome to Valiant Lady’s world

Your Sailors can visit gems like Monte Carlo, Ajaccio, Toulon and Marseille in France or Palma de Mallorca and Málaga in Spain, all from Virgin Voyages' homeport in Barcelona. On itineraries typically sailed by superyachts, your Sailors will explore Tuscany or visit Olbia and Cagliari in Italy’s Sardinian island. Whatever your Sailors cruise destination of choice, all itineraries stay longer in the port for extended exploration time, enabling your Sailors to spend a magical night in Ibiza.

Where Valiant Lady sails...
Barcelona
Barcelona
HOME PORT

With a home port only steps from Barcelona’s diverse neighbourhoods and the famed urban beach of La Barceloneta, Sailors will uncover hidden secrets from local market cooking classes to modern and historic art in this vibrant seaside, architecturally stunning European city.

Ibiza
Ibiza

Sailors will arrive at golden hour for a catamaran sunset sail before jetting to one of Ibiza’s famed night clubs. For those more into delicious dining than dancing, they could try an olive oil or local winery eco-tour, carve out a secluded spa day complete with a mind-balancing yoga class, or just let the old city guide them.

Ajaccio
Ajaccio

This French commune of the island of Corsica’s capital is filled with soaring mountains. Sailors can explore panoramic hiking trails, traverse Richiusa Canyon, try cafes in the historic centre, or visit the home turned museum where Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769. Natural or crafted, art is everywhere

Cagliari
Cagliari

Among the most pristine beaches to be found in Europe, Cagliari is well known for its Hilltop Castello, a medieval walled quarter situated high over the rest of the town. Sailors can discover shipwrecks off the coast or stop by a local shepherd’s home for a farm-to-table meal in the countryside

Gibraltar
Gibraltar

This British territory on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula may be small, but packs a strong global punch. Sailors can inspect the intricate caves of it towering limestone mass - the Rock, view the wonder via helicopter or stay land-bound for cafes, shopping and people-watching in town.

Málaga
Málaga

Sailors can uncover centuries of history in one of the oldest cities in Europe and venture off to visit Alhambra, a beautiful old-world palace, or perhaps just spend the day reveling in the small town.

Marseille
Marseille

One look at this southern port town and it’s clear why Van Gogh was inspired to paint here. Sailors can go from France’s second-largest city, to scenic and historical countryside in minutes. Medieval villages feel frozen in time as do the Starry Nights (actually frozen in Van Gogh’s painting of that name).

Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo

Located in Monaco, Sailors will glamorously overnight in this town of abundant opulence. Gaze at superyachts lining the coast, eye supercars filling the roadways or visit the beyond-chic hotels and shops. By day, Sailors can explore the unspoiled villages of Côte d’Azur. By night, let their imagination
lead them.

Olbia
Olbia

Sailors get access to private beach clubs, some only accessible by private yacht, while visiting this town known for views upon views of Costa Smeralda. Sailors can relax and detox after Monte Carlo (and before Ibiza) in this wine bar and piazza-filled refreshingly authentic taste of Italy

Palma de Mallorca
Palma de Mallorca

This capital city of the island of Mallorca is the perfect dose of countryside serenity you might expect from a secluded Balearic island. Sailors can bike through picturesque villages, enjoy art in Valldemossa or stop off at a family-owned winery with a history so rich, they can taste it with each sip.

Toulon
Toulon

A gateway to charming towns in Provence, access both coastline and countryside in France’s second largest naval port. Originally a fishermen’s village, its coveted Mourillon quarter still boasts original architecture with a daily market, chic little boutiques and seaside restaurants. Bon appetit!

Marina di Carrara
Marina di Carrara

With a backdrop of white-marked mountains covered in what appears to be snow, Marina di Carrara is actually blanketed with some of the world’s purest marble – a geographically rare site. On the border of Tuscany and Liguria, Sailors get access to Lucca, Pisa, Portofino and the breathtaking Cinque Terre.
