An update on October sailings
Based on the recent CLIA extension of the voluntary suspension of sailings through October 31st, 2020, Virgin Voyages' first four sailings have been impacted. While it only affects a few sailings, Virgin Voyages understand how disappointing this is to you and your Sailors, and want to work with you to provide the best cancellation options out there.
We understand that while this update only impacts a few sailings, this is disappointing news to those of you who were so excited to set sail. We were, too. But Virgin Voyages are committed to doing what’s best for their Sailors, and will only head out to sea when they believe the time is right.
The Virgin Voyages Crew is continuing to keep an eye on developments related to this extension and various other travel restrictions. Over the next few weeks, they will be working on any impact this may have to any upcoming sailing season, and will be sure to share any updates with all Sailors and First Mates.
Please rest assured that the safety and security of the Crew and Sailors is Virgin Voyages number one priority. With that in mind, they have implemented enhanced health measures across the entire voyage process, and will continue to add to all policies and procedures as the science around them evolves. You can check out the full Voyage Well plan, here.
As always, Sailors and First Mates remain our top priority and are so, so grateful for your continued love and support for Virgin Voyages. We can’t wait to finally get out on the water with you.
(It will be oh-so worth it)
